Dr Floreani completed his Bachelor of  Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in Adelaide in 1992. Following completion of basal basic general surgical training, he was selected to pursue advanced surgical training in ENT, following 2 years of clinical service in the specialty. Dr Floreani was made a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2001,and following this, he was selected for 12 month subspecialty training in the highly sought after Rhinology/skull base fellowship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, under the direct tutelage of Professor PJ Wormald. Following that, in 2003, Dr Floreani attended a further 12-month fellowship overseas in the subspecialty discipline of functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty at the Sunderland Royal infirmary (UK), under the guidance of Drs Tim Leontsinis and  Simon Watts. Towards the end of 2003 he then attended mini fellowships in facial plastics under Dr Wayne Larrabee, Dr Craig Murakami and team in Seattle, United States. He ended 2003 with a mini  fellowship in the Netherlands with Dr Hade Vuyk(Rhinoplasty) and in Pittsburgh with Dr David Kennedy (Sinus surgery).

Subsequently Dr Floreani  has gone on to forge his  own reputation as a highly qualified and well-respected expert in rhinoplasty and endoscopic sinus/skull base surgery. He regularly attends and presents as an invited speaker at National as well as international courses and conferences. He is a regular faculty member at rhinoplasty courses, including the highly regarded St Vincent's rhinoplasty course in Sydney, as well as endoscopic sinus surgery courses in the UK, New Zealand and, of course , the world renown Adelaide advanced endoscopic sinus surgery/pituitary surgery courses.

Dr Floreani continues his public service as a consultant ENT specialist in the world renown Queen Elizabeth Hospital sinus surgical unit as well as performing skull base surgery with the neurosurgery team, at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He is heavily involved in teaching up and coming surgeons in ENT , and training International Fellows in sinus as well as rhinoplasty surgery.

After consulting in private for many years as part of the ENT surgeons group,  Dr Floreani is now consulting out of new Private Rooms in Hutt  St, Adelaide. These rooms feature state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities, which enable him to offer the highest quality care in general and paediatric ENT, primary and revision rhinoplasty, sinonasal and skull base surgery.
